In an effort to re-establish Economic Development in the western region of the Navajo Nation, the Many Farms Chapter initiated the feasibility process to identify the different areas of possible development that could trigger the growth of the region, starting with the Many Farms main town intersection. Merge Architectural Group in collaboration with Southwest Economic Development Corporation and Ritoch-Powell and Associates created a feasibility package identifying the new commerce and services for the first 40 acres of development. The new development proposes the creation of fast food, tourism services including restaurant and hotel, auto services, business incubator, office and retail space and studies for future infrastructure.
