When the Gila River Indian Community needed to plan for new housing to accommodate the rapid growth of District 4, they hired our team to develop an overall plan and the individual home designs. Merge took a unique and creative approach to the project by designing a core floor plan that is consistent for all of the homes but that allows for the addition of one, two, three, four or five bedrooms to the core plan with minimal impact on the carport and entry. The homes are constructed using the Integra wall system to provide on-site efficiencies and better insulation properties. The building materials palette allows for a variety of exterior looks within a cohesive and unified aesthetic.
